The right grade depends less on the product than on the room. Here is how the same six categories get specified across the work we supply.

Wardrobes, beds, TV units and storage — usually MR grade, 12 mm to 19 mm.

Platforms, carcass and shutters — IS 710 marine below, BWR above.

Tables, seating and built-ins where edge quality and flatness show.

Workstations, storage and partitions, often in volume and to a deadline.

Shops, hotels and clinics — bulk quantities with consistent supply.

Matching what is already there, in smaller and less predictable quantities.

One-off site work where the carpenter picks the sheets himself.
